Design of the Daikin air purifier MC40UVM6-7
Daikin Air Purifier MC40UVM6-7 has a compact, practical, and quiet thanks to the new, innovative structure:
- Neat: The machine is incredible and square, making it suitable for any room space. It can be placed close to the wall without any hassle.
- Quiet operation: The exhaust fan is also arranged along the vertical axis, ensuring quiet operation even at high speed.
- No mixing of dirty air into the clean air stream: The dirty air inlet is designed for and is separate from the return air outlet, which minimizes the mixing of polluted air with the pure air stream from the machine.
The filters are arranged vertically on each other and cover the machine's cross-section, forming a tower-shaped structure. This ensures all incoming air is passed through the filter system and filtered clean before being blown into the room space.
This product has a 23W capacity and can create a wind volume of up to 4.0 m3/min. It is ideal for air filtration in areas ranging from 18 to 31m2 and can filter the air in about 13m2 in just 15 minutes.
Outstanding advantages of the Daikin air purifier MC40UVM6-7
Streamer Technology
The plasma discharge mechanism creates high-speed electron streams by decomposing up to 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, molds, and harmful substances attached to the filter. When combined with Nitrogen and Oxygen in the air, these electrons form oxidizing molecules that have a decomposition power more than 1000 times that of a normal discharge and are equivalent to heat at about 100,000°C.
Thanks to its superior ability to decompose harmful substances attached to the filter, Streamer keeps the odor and Hepa filters clean, thereby maintaining the filter's filtration performance. The always-clean filter also helps to minimize the amount of dirt mixed into the clean air blowing out of the machine.
Explore Streamer Technology:
- CLASH: Decomposes harmful substances on the dust collection filter by oxidation.
- CYCLE: The deodorizing filter absorbs and decomposes odor.
- CLEAN: Removes bacteria from dust collection filter, humidifying filter, and humidifying water.
Streamer technology has been recognized by many international testing organizations for its ability to eliminate seasonal influenza viruses, bacteria, molds, and allergens.
Electrostatic HEPA filter
The filter collects dust efficiently with electrostatic forces. It is not prone to clogging compared with unelectrified HEPA filters, which contain particles only by the fineness of the mesh. Therefore, a more significant amount of air can pass through the filter. The filter can purify a more substantial amount of air.
Filter fiber is charged with static electricity and collects particles efficiently. Doesn’t clog easily because of low-pressure loss. Removes 99.97% of fine particles of 0.3μm.
“Triple detection” sensor
To help users monitor and identify indoor air quality, Daikin air purifiers are equipped with high-sensitivity sensors that allow quick detection of everyday dust, fine dust (PM2.5), and odors.
Other features of the Daikin air purifier MC40UVM6-7
- 3 directions air intake: Daikin has a design of 3 air intakes (front, left, right) that allow it to suck in a large amount of air, thereby quickly cleaning the air in the room, increasing the efficiency of air filtration. In addition, a 3-way suction design allows the machine to be placed close to the wall while still ensuring air filtration performance
- The device has four different noise levels: Quiet (19 dB), Low (27 dB), Standard (36 dB), and Turbo (49 dB). These levels are equivalent to the sound of rustling leaves and ensure quiet operation without causing discomfort.
- You can easily customize the device's functions using the button control panel, which also features indicator lights.
Specifications
Note:
*1 Calculated by test method based on Japan Electrical Manufacturers Association Standard JEM1467.
*2 Confirmed by test method based on Japan Electrical Manufacturers Association Standard JEM1467.
The standard hypothesized that five or more cigarettes were smoked per day. Not all harmful substances in smoke (Carbon monoxide, etc.) can be removed.
More frequent filter changes may be required depending on actual operating conditions.
